Printing solution with HP inkjet cartridges
As lifestyle of the working society are quite burdening and time consuming, people tend to take their jobs back home. It is quite common to find a set of computer or more in the house as the use of computer is quite wide nowadays.
As paperwork; such as preparing presentation and report; requires hard copy for transparency, the needs of printers, as complementary part of the computers is also rising.
Don’t stop at that points, publishing industry and photography for instance, demand more capability from printers. Thus, more and more printing technology is developed. Various types of printers are made for various purposes as various purposes of printing with desktop devices are coming.
Printer manufacturers keep on inventing ways to cover either various needs of printing in one device or one device for specialized printing. Thus, printing methods; such as inkjet, laserjet, even inkless printing; are invented now.
Especially for printing technologies that implement inks, they use special container for ink called cartridges. To ensure printing quality, printers from a manufacturer, Hewlett Packard for example, should use only authorized HP inkjet cartridges and ink for HP inkjet printer.
Different manufacturers employ different technology in their product, causing certain model of printer is compatible only with manufacturer cartridge and ink. Inkjet printers from Hewlett Packard; or more famous by HP; implement different material in their ink.
Inkjet printers mainly use inks called aqueous ink because its main ingredient is water. This kind of ink is made by mixing dyes and glycol with water. While for HP ink, they mix sulfonated polyazo black dye with nitrates and some other compounds.
Aqueous ink is easy and cheap to manufacture, yet they are hard to handle as they need special coated media in order to produce good prints. But this kind of ink works best in inkjet technology as it will be easy to boil and vaporize. The inkjet technology in HP works this way: first, the ink inside HP inkjet cartridges is heated with electric current.
The heating takes process in tiny chambers inside the cartridge and makes the ink to boil and vaporized. Vaporized ink takes shape of bubble and propelled to the surface of a paper.
The technology is basically the same but the details are different. Thus, using corresponding printer brand and ink for a printer model can reduce the risk of poor quality prints and damage to the printer machine.
Using inkjet printers might be convenient as it is more quiet and faster than dot matrix and daisy wheel printer. But not only that, the cartridge is also refillable. But since authorized inks are expensive, you can buy inks that compatible with your printer.
No need to worry since third parties has formulated inks that can be compatible with HP inkjet cartridges and other manufacturers’ cartridge. These third party inks have proven to be both more cost efficient and eco friendly.
Since cartridges take approximately 350 to 1000 years to decompose, refilling your cartridge when it runs out of ink is highly encouraged by some government.
